Assumption of Risk:

I, the minor's parent or legal guardian, understand the nature of the activities my child will be involved in at The Studio of Tomball, and the minor's experience and capabilities, and believe the minor to be qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate in such activities.

Release of Liability:

I hereby release, discharge, covenant not to sue, and agree to indemnify and save and hold harmless each of the releasee's from all liability claims, demands, losses, or damages on the minor's account caused or alleged to be caused, in whole or in part by the negligence of the "releasees" or otherwise, including negligent rescue operations. I further agree that if, despite this release, I, the minor, or anyone on the minor's behalf makes a claim against any of the releasees named above, I will indemnify, save, and hold harmless each of the releasees from any litigation expenses, attorney fees, loss liability, damage, or any cost that may occur as the result of any such claim.

Registration Policy

Registration is accepted on a first come first served basis
Classes are closed once capacity is reached
Yearly registration is $25.00 per dancer. Each additional family member pays $15.00. This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE
First and last month tuition is due at the time of registration
A family may forego paying the last month of tuition at the time of registration only if they sign up for automatic bill-pay and have their credit card billed for tuition each month
Yearly tuition is broken into ten installments. Upon registration, the first and last installment is due. Eight additional tuition payments are due September – April
The Studio of Tomball reserves the right to terminate classes with an enrollment of 4 or fewer students and class times are subject to change depending on enrollment

Payment Policy

Tuition is due on the first of each month
Full tuition is due every month regardless of attendance and/or TISD holidays.
Tuition for the 2011 – 2012 dance season is divided into ten equal installments. Payments do not vary due to holidays or the number of weeks in a month. The Studio of Tomball guarantees a minimum of 32 classes in a season
MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express is accepted. An automatic monthly charge can be established
Missed classes will not result in prorated tuition or refunds. Make-up classes may be scheduled with the management office for students who miss class due to illness/injury. Missed classes must be made up in 30 days
A $15.00 late fee will be charged for payments received after the 10^thof the month. Holidays or a student’s absence from class does not waive this late fee. The Studio of Tomball does not send monthly statements
Postdated checks are not accepted
Returned check charge is $30.00
Parents of students wishing to drop a class must give written notice to the business office one month in advance. Failure to do so will make you responsible for tuition for that month.

Medical Emergencies:

In any event of an accident or emergency I hereby authorize my child to be transported to a hospital for medical treatment and I hold The Studio of Tomball and it's representatives harmless in the execution of such. Additionally, I hereby agree to individually provide for all medical expenses which may be incurred by me or my child(ren) as a result of any injury sustained while participating at or for The Studio of Tomball.

Studio Policies:

Please review and agree to our studio policies:

Parking lot- DO NOT EVER LET YOUR CHILD PLAY IN THE PARKING LOT. We often see parents chatting in the lobby after class while their child walks out the door without them. We also see parents chatting outside the studio while their child plays between cars or in the neighboring business parking. This is absolutely against studio policy. Children are not to be left outside without supervision or leave the building without an adult.
Send your student(s) to the studio prepared for class- Have the student(s) dressed in the necessary equipment
Be on time. Your dancer must be in class on time in order not to disrupt the other students. Please have your dancer at the studio ready for class.
The lobby- Families are always welcome in the lobby but please keep in mind that lobby space is limited and it gets really hot in the waiting area. If you utilize the lobby, please throw trash away and straighten toys before leaving. Please replace chairs if you move them.
Before and after class- Most classes start as a class ends. Please gather your child and be prepared to leave the building after class is over. Please be courteous to the class that comes after your class is over.
Communication- The best way to communicate with teachers is by emailing through email or calling the studio. Phone messages may not be returned the same day. Teachers cannot accept calls during class time.
